Background and experience

After many years working as a BHS-qualified freelance coach, I was driven to learn more about the horses’ anatomy and musculoskeletal issues that may affect their performance.

I studied for a BSc in Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation at Writtle University, Chelmsford. While at the University I was fortunate enough to also study with Debranne Pattillo, founder of Equinology®, and gain the Equine Bodyworkers qualification. 

Further to this I gained a postgraduate diploma (with distinction), in animal manipulation from the McTimoney Chiropractic College, Oxford. 

Reiki is another therapy I have studied (Level 2), and find it extremely useful for animals that exhibit anxiety.
